Ruby Wildflower Zinnia Seed Mix

A beautiful open-pollinated mix of zinnias grown here at Ruby Wildflower in soft blush, warm pink, creamy apricot, buttery yellow, and other dreamy pastel tones.

As these seeds are open-pollinated, plants may vary slightly in colour, form, and height — creating a lovely mix of unique blooms throughout the garden. Zinnias are easy to grow, flower heavily through summer and autumn, and make incredible cut flowers.

Growing Information

Zinnias love warmth and are best sown once the soil has warmed in late spring to early summer (generally October–December in New Zealand).

Seeds can be direct sown into the garden or started in trays and transplanted once seedlings are established. Cover seeds lightly with soil and keep evenly moist during germination. Most seeds will germinate within 5–10 days in warm conditions.

Plant in full sun with good airflow and regular picking will encourage even more flowers right through until autumn.
