Important Pre-Sale Information

A Few Important Things To Know

- Dahlia tubers all look a little different — some are long and skinny, some are chunky, and some varieties naturally wrinkle more in storage than others. Minor shrivelling is completely normal and does not affect viability. Every tuber sent will be something I’d be happy to grow in my own garden.

- Quantities are limited and popular varieties may sell out quickly once the presale opens.

- Tubers & seeds will be over wintered here at Ruby Wildflower, orders will be boxed up and shipped late August/Septemeber.

- If a tuber breaks dormancy early or a shoot is damaged during shipping, don’t panic — additional shoots will usually continue to develop from the eye cluster.

- Due to New Zealand biosecurity restrictions, we are unable to ship tubers internationally.

- Occasionally a variety may not store well over winter or may fail final quality checks before dispatch. If this happens, you will receive a full refund for the affected variety before orders are shipped.

- Please check your order once it arrives and contact me within 48 hours if there are any issues. Photos will be required so I can assess the problem.

- Once your order has arrived, ongoing storage, planting, and growing conditions are outside of my control. If you’re new to growing dahlias, please check out the FAQ page for planting, growing, and storage advice.

- By placing a presale order, you are agreeing to these sale conditions and acknowledging that presale orders cannot be altered after checkout.
