Ruby Wildflower Dahlia Seed Mix
A mix of Dahlia seeds grown here at the Ruby Wildflower Dahlia patch.
Each flower is open pollinated by the bees and butterflies.
1 packet contains approx. 30 seeds
Dahlia seeds do not grow true to the parent plant, meaning every seed has the potential to create something completely unique. While many seedlings will carry traits from the parent variety — such as colour, form, or size — each plant is essentially a brand new dahlia waiting to bloom for the very first time.

Growing Information
Sow seeds in spring once temperatures begin to warm (September onwards in New Zealand). For best germination, start seeds indoors or in a protected area using a heat mat set to around 20°C.
Lightly cover seeds with seed-raising mix and keep soil evenly moist. Seeds typically germinate within 7–14 days.
Transplant seedlings into the garden once all risk of frost has passed. Plants will flower in their first season and will form their own tubers by the end of summer, which can be lifted and replanted the following year.
